1 1/4 cups chocolate cookie crumbs

5 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

1 jar Texan Heartland Cherry Fig & Port Wine Jam

8 oz bittersweet or dark chocolate, chopped

1 cup heavy cream

2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened

Fresh cherries, figs, or raspberries (for garnish, optional)
Directions
Make the crust: Preheat oven to 350°F. In a bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch tart pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then cool completely.
Spread the jam: Spoon a generous layer of Texan Heartland Cherry Fig & Port Wine Jam evenly over the cooled crust.
Prepare the ganache: Heat the cream in a small saucepan until just simmering. Pour over the chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Let sit for 2–3 minutes, then whisk until smooth. Stir in the butter until glossy.
Assemble the tart: Pour the chocolate ganache over the jam layer, smoothing the top with a spatula.
Chill & garnish: Refrigerate until set (at least 2 hours). Garnish with fresh cherries, figs, or raspberries if desired before serving.
Recipe Note
For an added touch of elegance, sprinkle flaky sea salt over the tart just before serving. The salt intensifies both the chocolate and the fruity jam flavors, making every bite unforgettable.
