Simple, crisp, and full of savory flavor, these roasted green beans turn an everyday vegetable into a side dish worth remembering. Texan Heartland Master Blend All-Purpose Seasoning brings garlic, onion, pepper, paprika, mustard, and celery seed together in one balanced blend, giving the green beans a roasted, savory finish that pairs easily with chicken, steak, pork, seafood, or a weeknight family meal.
Ingredients
-
1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
-
1½ tablespoons olive oil
-
1 teaspoon Texan Heartland Master Blend All-Purpose Seasoning, plus more to taste
-
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice, optional
-
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese, optional
-
Lemon wedges, optional for serving
Directions
Preheat the oven: Heat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare the green beans: Pat green beans dry with a towel to help them roast instead of steam.
Season the beans: Toss green beans with olive oil and Texan Heartland Master Blend All-Purpose Seasoning until evenly coated.
Spread evenly: Arrange green beans in a single layer on the baking sheet, leaving space between them.
Roast until tender: Roast for 18-22 minutes, turning once, until the beans are tender and lightly blistered.
Finish and serve: Add a squeeze of lemon juice and a sprinkle of Parmesan if desired, then serve hot.
Recipe Note
For the best roasted texture, make sure the green beans are completely dry before seasoning and do not crowd the pan. If they are packed too tightly, they will steam instead of roast, and you will lose the lightly blistered edges that make this dish shine.
