Ingredients
For the Pork

3 lbs pork shoulder (Boston butt), trimmed of excess fat

1 cup Texan Heartland Caribbean Pineapple Hot Sauce

1/2 cup pineapple juice

1/4 cup brown sugar

Salt & pepper, to taste
For the Slaw

2 cups shredded green cabbage
-
1 cup shredded purple cabbage

1/2 cup shredded carrots
-
1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 tbsp lime juice

Salt & pepper, to taste
For Serving

12 slider buns

Extra Texan Heartland Caribbean Pineapple Hot Sauce for drizzling
Directions
Prepare the Pork: Place pork shoulder in a slow cooker. In a bowl, whisk together Texan Heartland Caribbean Pineapple Hot Sauce, pineapple juice, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Pour over pork.
Cook: Cover and cook on low for 7–8 hours, or on high for 4–5 hours, until pork is fork-tender.
Shred: Remove pork, shred with two forks, then return to the sauce and toss well to coat.
Make the Slaw: In a separate bowl, combine cabbage, carrots, mayonnaise, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Assemble the Sliders: Toast slider buns lightly if desired. Pile pulled pork onto buns, top with slaw, and drizzle with extra Texan Heartland Caribbean Pineapple Hot Sauce.
Serve: Plate as individual sliders for easy sharing.
