Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup pecans, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup Texan Heartland Peach Amaretto Pecan Jam
Directions
- Preheat oven: Set to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Make the dough: Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg yolks and vanilla. Add flour and salt, mixing until combined.
- Form cookies: Roll dough into 1-inch balls, then roll in chopped pecans to coat. Place on the baking sheet.
- Add thumbprints: Press a small indentation into the center of each ball with your thumb or the back of a spoon.
- Fill with jam: Spoon about 1/2 teaspoon of Texan Heartland Peach Amaretto Pecan Jam into each indentation.
- Bake: Bake 12–15 minutes, until edges are golden. Cool on a wire rack before serving.
