Texas Beef Kebabs

Ingredients

  • 1½ pounds sirloin steak, cut into 1½-inch cubes

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 tablespoons Texan Heartland Smokehouse Beef & Steak Seasoning

  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into large pieces

  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into large pieces

  • 1 yellow onion, cut into large pieces

  • 8 ounces whole mushrooms, optional

  • Wooden or metal skewers

  • Fresh parsley, optional for garnish

Directions

  1. Prepare the skewers: If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before grilling.

  2. Season the beef: Toss steak cubes with olive oil and Texan Heartland Smokehouse Beef & Steak Seasoning until evenly coated.

  3. Build the kebabs: Thread beef, bell peppers, onion, and mushrooms onto skewers, alternating ingredients.

  4. Preheat the grill: Heat grill to medium-high and lightly oil the grates.

  5. Grill the kebabs: Cook for 10-12 minutes, turning every few minutes, until the beef is browned and cooked to desired doneness.

  6. Rest briefly: Transfer kebabs to a platter and rest for 5 minutes before serving.
